Refund Policy

MicroNova is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform — we deliver software access, not physical goods. Because of this, our refund policy is specific to subscription-based digital services. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing.
1. Free Trial
All new MicroNova accounts begin with a 14-day free trial. During the trial period:
- No payment information is required to start.
- You have full access to all features of your selected plan.
- No charges are made during the trial period.
- You may cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.
We encourage you to use the trial period to fully evaluate whether MicroNova meets your organization's needs before subscribing to a paid plan.
2. Subscription Billing
- Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis.
- Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month.
- You will receive an email receipt for every charge.
- All payments are securely processed by PayHere. MicroNova does not store your card details.
3. Refund Eligibility
7-Day Refund Window
If you are charged for a subscription and decide it is not right for your organization, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the billing date.
The following conditions apply:
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the charge date.
- After 7 days, refunds are not available for that billing period.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Only one refund may be issued per account per 12-month period.
- Refunds are not available for partial months — we do not prorate mid-cycle cancellations.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again after cancellation.
After cancellation, your account remains accessible until the end of the paid period. Your data is then retained for an additional 30 days, during which you may request a full data export. After 30 days, all account data is permanently deleted.

5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- The refund request is made more than 7 days after the billing date.
- The account has already received a refund within the past 12 months.
- The account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms & Conditions.
- The account has been suspended due to illegal or fraudulent activity.
- Unused time remaining in a billing period after a mid-cycle cancellation.
- Charges resulting from add-on features or plan upgrades mid-cycle.
6. Disputed Charges
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank or payment provider. We will investigate and resolve billing errors promptly.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
7. Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refund or credit is issued for the remainder of the current billing period on the higher-tier plan.
8. Service Interruptions
We do not issue refunds for temporary service interruptions caused by scheduled maintenance, third-party infrastructure issues, or events outside our reasonable control. If a service disruption is caused by our fault and materially affects your ability to use the platform for an extended period, we will assess the situation and may offer a service credit at our discretion.

- Your registered company name and email address
- The charge date and amount
- The reason for your refund request
